This is a very nice thought, because most of us decide our lives precisely this way : we go through all the expected motions and end up trapped by the bounds and boundaries of love...
I think that what he meant was that bringing up his three children single-handedly was made him a truly remarkable writer. Is that your interpretation?

ReplyDeleteHe could be far out in his work, but far out and able to provide for his family (and that makes a world of diference).
