Lembro-me de ser pequeno e ter vizinhos operários que adoravam música clássica, sendo ao mesmo executantes na banda filarmónica da terra. Homens curiosos e interessados, uma espécie de aristocracia operária.

I remember being a child living at the workers quarter of the cement plant where both my father and grandfather worked and how some of my neighbours loved classical music, they also played at the local philharmonic band. A curious, interested lot they were, a working men aristocracy.



I chose this piece, because I think I heard them playing a version of it...
