Always thought that you must shy away from pride, that pride can intoxicate and alienate you from the basics of life, but it seems it has its virtues also...

Em Português existe a diferença entre brio e orgulho, sendo que brio é sinónimo do sentimento da própria dignidade. Acho que o artigo se refere mais ao brio e não tanto ao orgulho.

ReplyDeletePortanto pode ser mesmo orgulho, mas talvez num sentido feminino, que faça casa e se reproduza, não num sentido masculino, que saia por aí correndo e conquistando território...
Será amor-próprio sinónimo de orgulho? Porque é que todos os estudos "cientificos" no domínio da psicologia são tão ambiguos e pouco científicos?
