    I read that she carried bones, skulls and other New Mexico artifacts back to NYC where she stacked them on her balcony, and then painted them. She wanted her Americana to be something besides the surrealist mumbo jumbo of her art colleagues. I admire her so much.

    Tenho uma aversão visceral à maioria das obras desta senhora. Há um único quadro seu que considero sublime, o da noite em Nova Iorque.
